What’s up?

I am really looking forward to this event! Salon Delissime is a great opportunity to meet professionals, taste and buy so many different products from all over France and generally a good fun!

Just practicing …. 🙂

Karavai – traditional Russian bread, made for a special occasion like weddings, birthdays etc…  and decorated with appropriate ornaments.

This one is for a wedding: the round , like a sun, shape with a plait around it and flowers symbolize life, the wheat ears for prosperity, two doves – love. According to Russian tradition Karavai with salt is the first thing that newlyweds should eat together to have many years of ” happily after”.

Let’s cook together!

Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!

It is amazing how easy today we can find information that we are looking for, just with a few clicks on a computer and the magic internet gives us all!

I just was looking for some dessert ideas and I’ve come across a very simple and fun way to make Easter eggs.

Easter eggs with chocolate mousse

( This recipe is adapted and translated from ” CuisineAZ” )

You will need:

6 medium size chocolate Easter eggs without filling (Eggs must be big enough to fit into an egg cup)

100 g chocolate ( I used 70% cacao)
3 eggs
30 g butter
1 pinch of salt

1 Break the chocolate into pieces in a bowl. Add butter to the chocolate.
2 Put the bowl on a bain-marie and melt, stirring occasionally.
3 When chocolate and butter are melted and well mixed, take the bowl, of the bain-marie. Allow to cool.
4 Separate egg whites from egg yolks. Add yolks one by one into the cooled melted chocolate and mix well between each egg.
5 Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff picks.  Fold them very gently into chocolate mixture by lifting to avoid breaking the whites.
6 With a small heated knife gently take the tops of chocolate eggs and place them in the egg cups. Fill eggs with chocolate mousse and place in the fridge for at least three hours.
7 Garnish with small sugar eggs just before serving.

Simply radish

Just a little radish salad

Simple, but so yummy: radish, chives, salt, pepper and roasted sunflower oil ( can be substituted with ordinary sunflower oil with a few drops of roasted sesame seed oil, or with walnut oil)
