Préparez-vous pour la 3ème édition du salon Délissime de Limoges!!
L’an dernier vous étiez près de 10.000 à venir sur le salon à la rencontre de nos 80 exposants.
Cette année, le salon Délissime se transforme. Nous voulons apporter encore + de qualité et de convivialité à notre salon :
Vous rencontrerez + de producteurs, venus des 4 coins de la France, qui défendent leur savoir-faire et leur passion.
Nous veillons à ce que les exposants vous proposent des produits gastronomiques de qualité à des prix + bas.
Nous mettons en place de nombreuses animations enrichissantes. Des plages horaires seront réservées tout au long du week-end aux producteurs qui vous parleront de leur métier, notre maître confiturier ouvrira vos sens en préparant devant vous des confitures que vous n’auriez même pas imaginé.
Enfin, 1ère en France, le concours SPEED COOKING sera mis en place sur le salon.
3min30 pour nous épater, pour vous surpasser aux fourneaux, sur une musique endiablée ! Le gagnant remportera son diplôme de SPEED COOKER et un joli panier garni d’une valeur de 500€.

Ce concours est ouvert à toutes et à tous…à condition de savoir cuisiner vite (très vite) et bien.
La principale difficulté sera de préparer un met chaud ou froid avec des ingrédients préalablement choisis, en 3min30sec.
Nous ferons appel à votre dextérité, à votre imagination et votre grande rapidité pour épater le jury.
Pour vous aider à vous dépasser, vous serez accompagné d`une musique endiablée que vous aurez choisi sur notre playlist.
Chaque jour, plusieurs sessions seront organisées et le grand vainqueur se verra remettre son diplôme de SPEED COOKER et un joli panier garni d`une valeur de 500€.

How it works:
You will stay at La Croix du Reh full board with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Every morning we will visit some exciting places, meet interesting people and taste some wonderful produce.
Every afternoon you will create your own three course dinner menu and then cook the meal with Galya. Alternatively, you can cook only one of the courses or have a themed afternoon cooking like: “3 easy desserts”, “Macaroons made easy”, “Simply bread” (or more sophisticated gateaux), “I used to hate beetroot, but now I love it!”, “Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate”, “Russian cuisine”, ” Cupcakes ” , ” Posh pic-nique” , ” Jam making” , “Stock up your ladder with Preserves” setc…
You will leave with a Little Book of Galya’s kitchen recipes which will be a reminder of your adventure in Limousin.
245€ per day ( 2 nights) per person ( beverages and transport are not included).

The most exciting thing about running bed and breakfast with an evening meal for me is that I don’t know what I will be cooking in the evening until I am actually shopping, and menu can become a huge surprise and more huge success.
And here it is : a huge success of yesterday’s night .

Creme brulée of Foie gras: smooth and silky texture of crème brulée with unmistakable flavour and richness of the foie gras , served hot with a spiced wafer thin biscuit

Chicken Saltimbocca with Marsala sauce served with mashed potato, baby carrots and Spinach

Cheesy nougat for a cheese course

Finishing with Trio of Macarons: cassis ( black currant) , caramel beure salée ( salted butter caramel) and citron ( lemon curd)

It’s beginning to look like Christmas…
The Christmas lights are sparkling on the streets, the Christmas tree is up, the Cristmas decorations , the Holly and the Mistletoe have found their place in the house , the TELLY is spoiling us with the magical movies, that we watch every Christmas and are never tired to watch them again and again at every Christmas to come , and magic is happening in Galya’s kitchen.
The Christmas treats platter will be full of traditional things like Mince pies and chocolates , and traditional Russian treats like, chocolate salami ( yes, very much loved and made in Russia since donkey years) , Zefir and some new easy to make Chocolate brandy balls.

Such a wonderful day was it: brilliant opportunity to visit the Second Delissime food fair in Limoges. Unfortunately, I could not taste the wines being driving afterwards, but what a real delish was the food tasting. The Pavillion, where the faire took place, was not big, nevertheless it took me about 4 hours just to walk around, take a few pictures and of course try one or two things. The artisans-producers , who participated in the fair were specially selected for high quality and originality of their products from all over France. It was great to talk to some of them and to exchange addresses. Delissime is one not to miss the next year!
